I am afraid
we are very Jekyll and Hyde at the moment. Last match we were superb
this match shocking.
We are also carrying too many injuries at the minute without cover.
Reading started the game the more eager and scored within minutes of
the start when we failed to pick up a good through ball from
midfield leaving the Reading player the easy task of slotting home.
Reading
completely dominated the 20 minutes with us on the back foot. On our
first real attack we equalised when good work out wide saw Ian Henry
drive low across the box for Ryan Hazell to side foot home. This
picked us up and we then took the game to Reading and found some
tempo. This pressure saw us go 2-1 in front when good work from Sami
Hached down the wing set up Abraham Osho who shot past the diving
keeper.
We couldn't
have had a worse start to the second half when Reading equalised
when we failed to defend the far post within the opening minute of
the period. This saw Reading up their game. Reading went into the
lead when they were awarded a penalty in the 75th minute.
Although we
made 3 subs they did little to about turn our form. We nearly
equalised in the last 5 minutes when Sam Lock headed over the bar
from a corner.
All in all
a bad day at the office. |
