AYLESBURY VALE 0

MAIDENHEAD UNITED 2 (2)

The Youth remain unbeaten this season with a solid, if what below par performance, away to Aylesbury Vale in the league.
The first 20 minutes we were superb creating countless chances. James Gisborne opened the scoring in the 8th minute when great work from Lee Barney carved out an opening for a shot which Gisborne duly thumped into the net . At the other end Aaron O'Brien was virtually a spectator in goal. Although we dominated our approach play in the final third was a little sloppy at times but that is mainly based on the bench mark the boys set in the two previous games.
The ever hardworking Nathan Lishman made it two nil in the 28th minute when he rounded a defender and shot low into the goal.
Once again we dominated the second half but gave Aylesbury a little too much respect when we really should have hammered home the result.
Nevertheless another creditable performance from a promising team.
