The Youth progressed to the 3rd round of the Allied League Cup with a comfortable win over Holmer Green tonight.
The first half ws patchy with Holmer playing some nice passing football but they never penetrated. They did have two good chances to score but Kieran Hudson was equal to the efforts. At the other end we had three clear cut chances and fialed to nail the goal.
The second half we changed to 3-5-2 and opened up Holmer like a can.
George lock opened the scoring in the 51st minute when good work from Lishman and Barney found George Lock unmarked at the back of the goal to shoot home.
15 minutes later it was 2-0 when Sam Lock pinpointed his brother George with a great pass. George lobbed the ball over the advancing keeper to secure the match.
