Maidenhead
Norfolkians were founded in 1884 and were succesful members
of the South Bucks and East Bucks League before joining the
West Berks League and the Berks and Bucks League in 1902.
Like Maidenhead, they joined the Great Western Suburban League
in 1904 and were twice runners-up in 1904/5 and 1913/14. Following
the hardship, struggles and sadness experienced by many during
the Great War, football in Maidenhead re-emerged with the
two senior clubs agreeing to amalgamate in April 1919.
